Mural Abstraction
Navigating the building through its creative and accessible components proposes an energizing experience for its residents and neighbors.
Floors 1-2 are painted in warm tones connecting the story of the building to the natural materials beneath streets and the history of the city. As residents move upstairs, these colors interact with cooler hues harmonizing with the neighborhood landscape. The color palette creates dialogue with buildings and storefronts painted by community members. The top 2 floors host radiant blues to connect the viewer and the open sky.

Floor 6
Rich blues and reds inspired by billboards rising across Koreatown.

Floor 1
Warm colors referencing neighborhood roots, culture, food, and soil.
Copper Patina
The abstract mural and copper patina were conceptualized by architects at Urban Architecture Lab. Both elements were further developed and designed by Myisha Arellano.
Patina paint team: Myisha Arellano, Laura Lucas and Clarissa DLT.
